Today was a pretty quiet day, didnt do much. Yesterday was a lot of fun though. I went to Morgan City around 2 to hang out with my friend Adriane. We watched a parade go right in front of her house while eating gumbo that was made by her mom, it was really good. We then went to the Shrimp and Petroleum festival where we watched Cajuns from the depths of the bayous dance to some pretty good music. Later that night I was introduced to the Hurricane. . .a rather strong mixture of rum and what I imagine to be fruit punch. A friend then drove us to a club type place where much dancing ensued. We were then dropped off at Adriane's mother's house where I slept on the couch. Basically it was an awesome night =)
