2.3.10

Midterms are coming up, lots o' studying to do. Recap since my last post:

Mardi Gras was a couple of weeks ago, Nic and Ivy came down to visit. We had a great time (even tho the sleeping arrangement left something to be desired) New Orleans basically goes crazy for 5 days, this was of course magnified by the Saints' victory at the Superbowl the weekend before.

Last weekend I volunteered with the Nicholls Biology Society at the Science Olympiads. It was a cool experience. The Olympiad is a Science "competition" for high schoolers, they take tests and take part in little competitions to earn points for their school, the school with the most points wins. My job was basically to help monitor and grade the tests.

Other than those two events, things have been quite calm here. Ultimate and soccer have started up again, which is always good fun. Next semester I will be moving to the other side of campus, hopefully to La Maison du Bayou, but the private dorms would be nice as well.

March is going to be a long month, no breaks and lots of tests.
